Welcome to Lapland where imagination becomes reality. We are Gustav and Julia, the people behind Cold Experience.
Gustav & Julia
We live an adventurous life with our two children born in 2022 and 2023. Half of the year we sail along the west coast archipelago, the other half we welcome guests to our hometown Råstrand in Lapland.
Gustav
Raised in Råstrand, has driven snowmobiles since age two. Over 100,000 km of snowmobile experience and deep local knowledge.
Julia
Extensive experience running top restaurants, including ski resorts in Norway. Expert in food and hospitality.

We live the dream — summers on our sailboat, winters in Lapland, always close to freedom and adventure.
Why we created Cold Experience
We wanted to combine the west coast and Lapland in our lives and find a way to live in both places. Together we created Cold Experience to share exciting snowmobile safaris, magical northern lights tours, and genuine dog sledding adventures.
