We are Gustav and Julia, the force behind the Cold Experience.
We live an adventurous life with our 2 children born in 2022 and 2023. Half the year in the summer we live on our sailboat on the West Coast in the Gothenburg archipelago, in the winter we live in Råstrand Lapland.

Gustav, who grew up in Råstrand, has been creating tracks in the snow since he was 2 years old and knows the area and all the excursion destinations well. Gustav grew up on a farm in Råstrand and learned a great deal about nature and how to fix things as well as get around problems. He has been driving snowmobiles since he was a little boy and has many 100.000km behind the snowmobile.
Julia, brings with her solid experience from running first-class restaurants, including ski resorts in Norway. Her love of culinary dining and her extensive background in the hospitality industry make it a natural fit for her to provide you with outstanding service.

We live a life many dream about, live on a sailboat with the best possible summer and in the winter live in Lapland with the best possible winter and we have only freedom.
We wanted to combine the West Coast and Lapland in our life and come up with a solution where we can live in both places. Together, we then created ColdExperience to be able to offer you an unbeatable mix of exciting snowmobile excursions, enchanting Northern Lights tours and genuine dog sledding adventures. Our goal is simple: to make your visit to Lapland, Sweden, an unforgettable and immersive experience. It is highly likely that we will become friends with you after your stay with us.
